Hello 2009!

Great end to 2008 and a beautiful beginning for 2009.
Usually my feelings are inert about new years but for some reason I  feel like the year ahead is going to be all shiny and awesome.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :D

As I recall

Of Music:

It started off with one innocent Jonas Brother song I downloaded to try to convince myself that they were musically awesome and that I wasn’t just superfically attracted to the middle brother.
Yes Joe, how I swooned over you (take note of past tense) like I would over a chocolate fountain.

Well okay fine I guess it didnt work because that mp3 has since been lost into utter obscurity among the many gigabytes of my harddrive. Undeniably the only reason I still keep an interest in the JB is because of Joe Jonas and his spider ways wtf *hangs head in shame*

It did however, start a chain reaction of changed listening habits. Before I knew it I had Demi Lovato’s whole album and even actually made a concious decision to add some Taylor Swift into my playlist. WhichistotallywtfbecauseIdontevenlikecountrymusic.

Oh Disney kids what the hell are you doing to me wtf.

I better not catch myself downloading Miley Cyrus soon TT__TT

Of Ice-cream:

Went To Fort Canning for Ben n Jerry’s Chunk Fest.

The queue for ice-cream was insane. So insane that I couldn’t find where the end of the queue even was T_T

So we walked to the outlet at The Cathay where it was air-conditioned, mud-free and pro-seats to get our ice-cream instead wtf.

Of Bimbotic Addition No. 367:

Of Eidul Adha:

Was a good day of course. No monster pimple surprise appearances or annoying conversation topics made it even better. Haha.

Love my grandparents

Made for walking

Shopping with AK a couple of weekends back and had the Burger King Stacker. Now that was a burger made for me. After countless times of my silent (and not so silent) cursing about the portions we get here in Singapore, somebody finally decided to stop being cruel and give people an option to choose meals thats appropriately adult-sized.

Sai got the 3 stack and I got the 4. It wasn’t quite as big as advertised, but we were happy people for the rest of the day :D

Collabarative birthday celebration for Meia and the brother. We went out the whole day shopping and hauling the bags all over Singapore.

Fresh raspberries, cherries, bluberries and strawberries for the chocolate fondue. And more chocolates. The bumpy looking ones were made in ~heaven~. It’ll make you cry tears of joy. Really.

Woah *wipes off cobwebs*

I haven’t logged in to wordpress for so long already! It started off because I didnt want to entertain certain anonymous people, and then I got busy with my life, and then I forgot the password to this thing (-.-), and then I got lazy and couldnt be bothered about retreiving it, and then I got busy again, then I forgot about the existence of this blog all together until my friends started bugging me for an update.  They changed the layout and everything huh. I like how it looks!

Anyway I found some of the old diaries I used to write in – and let me just say first that I’m a person who avoids the past as much as possible – but when I read through them, it was actually a nice thing to have kept afterall…

Admission tickets, random notes, (alot of) machine-calculated-weight slips, pictures. It was basically a big ol’ scrapbook. I think I should start utilizing the old-school book journals again starting next year. Writing those entries were so much fun!

I read about so many things I totally forgot about. Even some really big things:

Like someone I refered to as Zul whom I used to be close friends with and I used to tell him my deepest darkest confessions. I had no recollection of him(/her) at first, but now it’s slowly coming back to me.
Like how I used to write super randomly in such a crazy mix of english and minah malay, it’s embarrasing as hale..
Like how my friends were always using my mobile to talk to their boyfriends.
Like the fact that I had a younger ’step-brother’ when I was about 14 wtf???
Like the epic stories I wrote that now make me laugh so hard till I had tears.
Like the simple moments that made me happy.
It gave me alot of answers to how friendships were destroyed, why people turn out the way they do now and what made me who I am.

Something happened to me in the middle of 2003 because I saw a sudden change in demeanour. Even my handwriting improved. I really should burn the diaries prior to ‘03. BURRRNNN! Lol.

And I thought I got the closure I needed about an incident enough to forgive and start over with an old friend of mine,  one whom I once used to talk to daily and even to an extent that we’d let eachother read our diaries etc. So I looked her up on Facebook and right when I saw her picture come up, I changed my mind again. I couldn’t. Just the sight of her appauled me. Big bold letters spelling b.i.t.c.h appeared in my head wtf. Funny that after all these years I’ve only just come to acceptance terms with our (long and painful) fall-out and still not able to forgive. Gosh, talk about baggage…

OK, so some things should just be left in the past. I’ve grown up. In alot of ways im still the same old me but… different.

Off to dinner now, will write more later.

Just because

Everybody has a Raya post. I wanna write a Raya post but like nothing to write about heh. Every year is the same. Same, but still awesome. Ramadhan was more festive than Raya lor!

Only difference this year was AK coming over on the first day. Yey I actually had someone to talk to! Haha. Thanks for coming!

And yeah this is Cake Batik:

Finished within 9 days of Raya.

My awesome uncle gave me this eyeshadow palette:

Pretty!

And my slightly older 88 Palette:

I suck at putting on eyeshadows. Oh well.

And the Wasabi Fillet-O-Fish was a huge mistake since I’m not such a big fan of Wasabi *green face*

Not having your own laptop sucks.

Bye. Busy sulking wtf.

Balance.

So yeah, previous entry I was like so happy and the next day I switched on my laptop …

T____T

Still haven’t gotten it repaired and so I’ve been secretly using my mum’s laptop (shh dont tell wtf) and the home desktop (which lags worse than your grandmother wtf).

Right now I’m using my sister’s laptop to update and it’s awesome because it has an SD card slot and it solves all the problems cable gives when I want to transfer stuff from my phone.
Note to self: buy a new laptop with SD slot.

My current status is: high in cholesterol.
Kuih batik (i THINK thats what it’s called. will clarify later) is TEH SEXX!

I have to rush out now.
Laters!

Walk in.

Very very very very happy for some reason.

I shall sleep with a smile on my face tonight!

Shine on me

The weeks have been rather productive and awesome that I almost forgot about the existence of this blog.

I actually forgot why I was so mad in the previous entry (ok not really) but before I know it, it’s the last day of Ramadhan.  So so so fast! I wanted to update about me eating mooncakes but now I guess I have to update about eating ketupat and kuihs haha.

So time for some updates. Where where where do I start?

Okay for one, I battled with the vacuum cleaner. I emptied the dustbag outside and ran away squealing from it like 5 times -_- Nasty ok? Dust floating around everywhere I dont even want to think of what type of mites might have been living in there.
Luckily I don’t have hot neighbours or not my stock index drop leh wtf.

I got my phone bling-ed and my outfits altered.

I didn’t get my hair cut because apparently long hair (aka extensions) is the in-thing now.

Over the weekends I went to Suntec and Marina Square to look for shoes and shopping was damn shiok I tell you! There weren’t alot of people around because of the road closures for the F1 race.

Long row of Ferraris (which my phone didn’t accurately capture haha)

And speaking of F1, I felt really  indifferent about the whole thing when everyone was all excited to buy tickets/ bet on winners/ become gridgirls. But after seeing the actual event taking place in front of my eyes and seeing how many people were involved, I would definately say that it lived up to it’s hype. Heh.
We broke fast while listening to the zoom-ing of the cars and eventhough we didnt buy tickets to the Grand Prix, we watched the race from a bridge with a few other strangers.
I thought it sounded like a war-zone without the missiles destroying anything =\

So anyway to all muslims, HAVE A HAPPY EIDUL FITRI

Sometimes it’s like…

what the point?

What.is.the.fecking.point??

Goodbye.

Crazy frog

Okay I just got off the phone from another weird phonecall. Today is officially Awkward Phonecall Day.

Craters

I wasn’t as annoyed as I thought I would be at Geylang today. I think it’s because I just blocked out everyone (aka the crowd). Bumped into alot of friends (old & new) and my neighbours. If they didn’t bother calling out my name I wouldn’t have seen them walk pass.

But I think my strategy worked well because once my mp3 died and my phone went flat, I started to look at people and my mind was like “White tights with short tee? Wtf? / MOVE WOMAN WHY YOU WALK SO SLOW? / Not cute, not cute, not, ooooh cute, even cuter, not cute. / Why is she giving me that look? / Why ah got so much space in their caps wtf” and then I got frustrated and tired -_-”

Lol.

Today was a good day. I had my favourite donuts and chicken and managed to buy about half of the things we need. Nobody was a bitch. Everything was good.

I will make tomorrow another good weekend.

Now off to sleep~

Coach

I am in love with my keychain and the lipsticks that came in the mail today. Definately perked me up good after rediculous gastric episodes.

I’ll get my future boyfriend to spend on only useful girly things for me rather than the not-so-useful flowers and stuffed toys. What are we supposed to do with those things anyway?
No, seriously.

Weekends are here baby!
Shopping at Geylang (wtf) tomorrow. Gonna be fun.
Or totally not…
