A few weeks back, Rahmah was sweet enough to accompany me at Suntec eventhough she had work right after that. Before she left, we watched pregnant teens try to sit themselves down at KFC wtf. Afterwhich  I met up with Nisha at PS where she treated me Swensens :D

Then in the evening, I attended a play called “Assault and Flattery, the loves and life of Margaret Mok born 1985″ organized by SMU Law students at  the Raffles Hotel.

Earlybirds getting our tickets

We went to grab a quick bite at Hans before the show started. I was stuffed, but ate anyway (lol whats new?)…

The dress I miraculously fit my boobs myself into that day.

Front-row seats!
I have this picture as my wallpaper right now :8D

Lights down, show starting. Did I mention that my sisters were in the play?
I also want, dammit!

Lol.

Heres a short clip of the nightmare scene
(aka one of the very few scenes that wasn’t too overexposed for my phone to record wtf)

I have to say that everything was well produced. The jokes were funny, the singing was good and the acting touched the audience. And it was a full-house yo!

Awesome cast.

You think they’d let people use this place for weddings?
Because if I have a wedding I want even the guests to be in order wtf and not crowding around.

Forgot to take pics of the buffet table (aka paiseh). Hehh.

A security guard gave me a stool to sit on while I was waiting for my dad to pick us up. He even gave out pastries to my sisters. We didn’t eat it la wtf, but I thought that was very  nice of him. A stranger who isn’t condesending for a change…

xoxo

AK’s birthday

Before we went around looking for her present we had lunch for 2.

We are always very romantic one you dunno meh?

Both of are too crazy about food and shopping until always  forget about the world wtf.
Next time we go out must take more pictures man…

On another note I met Nurul a couple of weeks back for Thai dinner. By now she should have landed in Austrailia for her convocation. How exciting!
Congatulations on graduating sweets!

Crystal Eye

Shopped alone (story of my life) among swams of females viciously grabbing things off racks wtf relax eh please.. The sun was also merciless that day I’m convinced that I almost got heatstroke simply from crossing the road. Even after all that I didn’t really leave with anything.

Randomly made a friend and talked about the weather and other randomosities.

Collected my Fukubukuro and by then I was dead beat so I hung out at the office -_-

Was a happy trooper nonetheless :D DD

Fasio Mascara Workshop

Held on the 5th of Feb 2009, celebrity make-up artist Grego (who has worked on international big names like Shirley Manson, Bai Ling and Kimora Lee Simmons), showed us the low-down on how to really play up our eyes with FASIO’s beauty goodies. The event was held by Cozycot and Fasio for around 20 of us.

All of us recieved complimentary goodie bags and coupons

Grego himself had such pretty lashes for a guy I couldn’t stop looking! *hides head in paperbag*  We got our hands on the soon-to-be-launched 5-Star Mascara (by the time I post this confirm lauched already -__-) which boasts long, intense, waterproof, shockproof and lasting curled lashes.

I liked how I had great control over the product because the applicator was tiny but I must have been over enthusiastic with the mascara because I ended up having spider-leg lashes wtf.

Also got to try other of their newly launched products.I think they should be available in stores now so you can go check them out!

After watching him demo on models came the fun part… we got to try them on ourselves!

My workspace

I made like my own home lor. Using up all the cotton pads, giggling with Nisha at our noobnosity (think I just invented a word) and layering on eyeshadows 33 times not caring if I looked like a transverstite hooker wtf because it’s my fav product out of the lot.

But laugh all you want. This transverstite hooker got chosen for the top 3 looks (or something) OK. And they promised to deliver my prize soon :D

I might do an update if or when I recieve them…

So there you have it bbs, there are no ugly girls, only lazy ones :p

A few picture credits to CozyCot

End of 2008

Went to Swensens before meeting up with la familia in town.

Picture which has nothing to do with anything but I’m gonna post it up anyway because i’ve accidently uploaded it wtf

Nisha reminicing the beautiful times spent with me

I got no creativity everyday also eat burger

My fav questionable-looking dessert

If you squint hard enough, you’ll see an optical illusion in this picture

I saw a blast from my past and I refused to have awkward creepers taint my New Years Eve so I shopped alone while waiting for the rest to finish their dinner at Seoul Garden.
Juicy Couture store coming soon omgomg!
Met up with the rest of the family and shopped the suprisingly vacant stores. Tested thousands of cosmetic items at Sephora (my new heaven) and then went home in time for fireworks!

I want fireworks at my wedding okthanksbye.

So 2008 ended on a good note and I’m gonna rock 2009. Hopefully :8D

PS: There wasn’t really an optical illusion in that pix LOL

My purple aura

For many more blessings to come.

fukubukuro

Yey! I’m going to collect this tomorrow. Feel free to join me if you happen to be free :D

And I know this blog is like so dead but I’m in the midst of resizing photos.  That’s what you get for setting your camera to 872600 x 354600 pixels wtf.
So annoying OK have to open Photoshop just for resizing!

To AK: I finally retrieved the pictures. Now I know why the Bluetooth didn’t work.. Omg it’s so bimbotic that I don’t even wanna talk about it okthanxbye.

Made for walking

Shopping with AK a couple of weekends back and had the Burger King Stacker. Now that was a burger made for me. After countless times of my silent (and not so silent) cursing about the portions we get here in Singapore, somebody finally decided to stop being cruel and give people an option to choose meals thats appropriately adult-sized.

Sai got the 3 stack and I got the 4. It wasn’t quite as big as advertised, but we were happy people for the rest of the day :D

Collabarative birthday celebration for Meia and the brother. We went out the whole day shopping and hauling the bags all over Singapore.

Fresh raspberries, cherries, bluberries and strawberries for the chocolate fondue. And more chocolates. The bumpy looking ones were made in ~heaven~. It’ll make you cry tears of joy. Really.

Shine on me

The weeks have been rather productive and awesome that I almost forgot about the existence of this blog.

I actually forgot why I was so mad in the previous entry (ok not really) but before I know it, it’s the last day of Ramadhan.  So so so fast! I wanted to update about me eating mooncakes but now I guess I have to update about eating ketupat and kuihs haha.

So time for some updates. Where where where do I start?

Okay for one, I battled with the vacuum cleaner. I emptied the dustbag outside and ran away squealing from it like 5 times -_- Nasty ok? Dust floating around everywhere I dont even want to think of what type of mites might have been living in there.
Luckily I don’t have hot neighbours or not my stock index drop leh wtf.

I got my phone bling-ed and my outfits altered.

I didn’t get my hair cut because apparently long hair (aka extensions) is the in-thing now.

Over the weekends I went to Suntec and Marina Square to look for shoes and shopping was damn shiok I tell you! There weren’t alot of people around because of the road closures for the F1 race.

Long row of Ferraris (which my phone didn’t accurately capture haha)

And speaking of F1, I felt really  indifferent about the whole thing when everyone was all excited to buy tickets/ bet on winners/ become gridgirls. But after seeing the actual event taking place in front of my eyes and seeing how many people were involved, I would definately say that it lived up to it’s hype. Heh.
We broke fast while listening to the zoom-ing of the cars and eventhough we didnt buy tickets to the Grand Prix, we watched the race from a bridge with a few other strangers.
I thought it sounded like a war-zone without the missiles destroying anything =\

So anyway to all muslims, HAVE A HAPPY EIDUL FITRI

20th

Turning 20 feels like a fresh start and I’m so excited!

Pre-birthday celebration at Sakura with Edwin and Nisha on Friday. Note to self: Do not go there again anytime soon. HUA. You all don’t need to know why la hor… *covers head with paperbag*
Went to look at some sale, window shopped and then chilled at Gloria Jeans and did a lot of camwhoring.

Thanks again to everyyyone who wished me on my birthday itself
I deeply appreciate it even though I’m not the kind who makes a big deal about my own birthday. I got an SMS from a friend I haven’t contacted for 8 years so that was super nice knowing that she remembered without needing Friendster to notify her about it (something I’m quite guilty of :x )

Received 3 packages.

This is what was in the Fr3b’s one. Haha I have fetish for travel-sized products I think.

.

The next week my parents made themselves free so we reserved for birthday dinner with the family at Mad Jacks. Woots!

And for dessert we all had the birthday cake
(which I only manage to eat half because no more space in stomach)

You might have noticed I’ve stopped making picture collages already. That’s because if I want to collage pictures I must be in the mood and right now my mood isn’t quite collage-ish (am I even spelling it right?).
So expect single pictures from here forth :8D

.

The days after that we just full of going out, shopping, eating, last minute meetups and taking advantage of the Pasar Malam near my place. Half the year (maybe even more) the Pasar Malam will be at my place. I think I can identify all the stall owners already lor.

Randoms

That girl in the ballet outfit was damn cute and obedient I wanted to kidnap her.
*maternal instints raging*

And then on one of the days while I was Marina Sqaure my phone touchscreen started being unresponsive. Sad okay cannot take pictures or send SMS. So the next day I went down to the service centre with my sister to have it repaired.
Sad sad also I still have mood to shop after that. Haha.
Then right before I went home I saw Bodyshop having sale. Sale = a girl’s best friend.

60 ml Oceanus for $19.90 (!!) and my fav blush.
