Little Miss Random

I can’t even commit to a once a week part-time job wtf. I’ve been AWOL from the office for nearly two months now. You all know that AWOL means – Away Without Official Leave, but really I’ve been away without even any sort of notification.

I almost feel horrible but I guess I’d still be popping by there once in a while if it wasn’t for my mum. She’s not letting me work. While my grandparents are somewhat proud that I’m finally useful for myself I don’t think the mum share the same sentiments. My dad? He doesn’t even know I’ve ever been employed to begin with. God forbid. But that my friend, is a story for another day…

You know, I’m not blaming her though because I have mixed feelings about that office job anyways. Mixed feelings here mostly being negative.
One word: Boring. I thought just as long as they paid me good then I’d be good too but I have now learnt that that’s not always the case.

So kids, lesson to be learnt when you’re deciding on your career: Don’t just do it for the money. Do it because you’ll feel rewarded in one way or another.
If you’re the kind of person who feels incredibly rewarded by money, well then by all means… But I’m telling you, most of us aren’t built for that.

It’s alright if it’s just a temporary thing. But look at me wtf. I’m just glad I learnt this first hand because I wouldn’t believe it even if every other person told me about it.

I really hope my parents stop being like this though. Cus contrary to popular belief, asking them for money makes me feel like a loser.
